The YT-73087 universal meter with automatic range for each measurement is a product that combines the capabilities of five separate devices. In addition to performing basic and advanced electrical measurements, the multimeter can measure air humidity, ambient temperature and e.g. liquid or cable using the measuring probes included in the set, sound intensity in decibels and light intensity in lux. All these functions allow you to assess the quality of work of electrical devices to a much greater extent than traditional electrical meters. We can examine the amount of light generated by the bulb, the efficiency of the sound system. We can also check whether the conditions are suitable for the operation of electrical devices (humidity and temperature).

- the measurement accuracy of the YT-73087 meter for this range is: ±(1.0% + 5), resolution 0.1V
- Measurement error calculation formula: (measurement result x 1.0%) + 5 x resolution
- calculation: (235 x 1.0%) + 5 x 0.1 = 2.35 + 0.5 = 2.85V

BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS
- AUTO - automatic adjustment of the measurement range. When measuring unknown values with a meter with a manual range change using the knob, measurements should be made sequentially from the largest range to the range giving the most accurate result - otherwise you risk damaging the device. However, in the case of a multimeter with the AUTO function, it is enough to make one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. The meter starts up in AUTO mode by default
- RANGE - manual change of the measurement range. A useful function when checking many of the same components with a known value, e.g. a series of resistors. Manual range setting will reduce the time of such measurements significantly
- FUNC - changing the measurement mode, e.g. from AC to DC voltage measurement, switching the diode test to the circuit continuity test
- REL - using the function during the measurement will reset the display and adopt the value visible before the display as the reference level. The next measurement will show the difference between the measured value and the stored reference value
- HZ% - the button, when the knob is set to the frequency measurement position, will change the settings to the duty cycle/duty cycle measurement
- DATA HOLD - keeping the currently measured value on the display
